In Tombstone, Arizona, lawmen Virgil, Wyatt and Morgan Earp, backed by Doc Holliday, faced a group of cowboys: Ike and Billy Clanton, Tom and Frank McLaury and Billy Claiborne.
About thirty shots were fired in roughly thirty seconds. Billy Clanton and both McLaury brothers were killed. It became the most famous gunfight of the American Old West.
