These attributes belong to [herodotus]. Pro attributes require an active, licensed or trial-enabled Pro add-on as well as Free.

Date Modes and Upcoming Events
Today
[herodotus date_mode="today" upcoming="0"]This Pro example selects today without the global upcoming range. In Free, use the plain shortcode or date_mode="today".
Around Today
[herodotus date_mode="around"]Includes yesterday, today and tomorrow. Posts Limit applies per date. A configured upcoming range can extend the forward window while keeping yesterday.
Fixed Date
[herodotus date="07-20"]Uses July 20 regardless of today's month/day. There is no historical-year filter in this attribute.
Upcoming Announcements
- Edit each event you want to announce ahead and tick Upcoming Event.
- Save the event.
- Choose Upcoming Days in Display or set a range on the shortcode.
[herodotus upcoming="14"]
[herodotus until="12-31"]Today is included without requiring the flag. Days ahead require Upcoming Event. Future announcements show Tomorrow or In N days instead of a years-ago counter when applicable. The maximum range is 60 days, including when using until.
Attribute Scope
Combine category, tag and exclusion filters to narrow the same date window. Unknown attributes are ignored. An inactive Pro add-on cannot provide Pro layouts or date features. The native Gutenberg block and the random shortcode accept smaller sets; see Gutenberg Block and Random Events.
